Capital Bass (в прошлом — Dubwize Steppaz, а ещё раньше — Dubstep Weekends) — центральные вечеринки Москвы, посвящённые музыкальным направлениям дабстеп, грайм, фанки и другой бас-музыке.

Стартовав в конце 2006 года с участием главного идеолога дабстеп-сцены Kode9, продолжившись в 2007 с участием таких корифеев жанра, как Skream, Loefah, Plastician и Mala/Digital Mystikz, а в 2008 — с Rusko, Benga, N-Type и Tes La Rok, они фактически положили начало и задали мощнейший импульс для дальнейшего развития дабстеп-движения в столице, а можно сказать и в России. В первой половине 2009 года при поддержке резидентов Capital Bass прошла серия масштабных событий Bass Machine, где лайн-апы почти полностью состояли из имён мирового масштаба, как например, Loefah, Pinch и Various Production, что в очередной раз подняло планку для последователей.

Сегодня вечеринки Capital Bass продолжают знакомить публику как с артистами, стоявшими у истоков современной бас-музыки — El-B, Mary Anne Hobbs, Terror Danjah, The Bug, так и артистами, в реальном времени двигающими эту сцену вперёд — Ramadanman, Ikonika, Cooly G, Jack Sparrow, Headhunter, Untold и многими другими!

С декабря 2009 года Capital Bass — это ещё и музыкальное шоу на радио Follow Me.

Capital Bass (formerly Dubwize Steppaz and Dubstep Weekends) are Moscow-based events dedicated to dubstep, grime, funky and other modern bass music.

Having started at the end of 2006 with the participation of Kode9, the parties continued in 2007 with performances from such genre defining artist as Skream, Loefah, Plastician and Mala/Digital Mystikz, and in 2008 with Rusko, Benga, N-Type and Tes La Rok. This was the starting point and a very important impulse for further development of the dubstep movement in the capital, or even in the whole of Russia, it could be said. In the first half of 2009, with the support from the residents of Capital Bass, a series of major events took place under the Bass Machine brand, where the line-ups were entirely made up of worldwide known names, such as Loefah, Pinch and Various Production, which once again raised the bar for those following.

Today Capital Bass parties continue to introduce the public to the artists who were at the origins of contemporary bass music, such as: El-B, Mary Anne Hobbs, Terror Danjah, The Bug, and the artists who are currently pushing the scene forward, such as: Ramadanman, Ikonika, Cooly G, Jack Sparrow, Headhunter, Untold and many others!

From December of 2009 Capital Bass has also become a music show on the Follow Me radio.
